Hey Southwest UpSTANDers!

If you were not able to make it to the National STAND Conference now is your chance to reconnect with STAND! The chapter retreats are a day long this year and packed with the discussion, collaboration, and one on one interaction! The retreats give us the chance learn all the details about Darfur, Burma and Congo, how conflicts are selected and civilian protection. We can meet other students in the Southwest that are working toward the same goal and renew our motivation and dedication to the anti genocide movement.

Come and learn new techniques and gain the tools needed to make our chapter even more amazing! Also we will spend time discussing what you need and expect from STAND as a national organization, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of STAND. And we will learn how to get involved in our spring initiative, Darfur From Day One, and help make sure Darfur is a priority for our newly elected officials. So don't hesitate!
