 Hey Northeast upSTANDers,

As your Outreach Coordinators, we are so excited to invite you to the STAND Chapter Retreat at Harvard University! At the Retreat, we will have the opportunity to network and plan with other activists, deepen our understanding of the conflicts in Sudan, Burma, and the Congo, and brainstorm how to make our chapters fulfill their goal of anti-genocide activism. Plus, we will get to learn and discuss critical strategies, tools, and tactics for improving our chapters and engaging in STAND's spring campaign to make the new Administration see Darfur as a critical priority.

Smaller than the National Student Conference, this retreat will be more interactive and offer the opportunity for close collaboration between groups to reinvigorate us all. Don't miss this opportunity to polish your skills as a human rights activist, and strengthen your communication and connections with other local student activists!
