By Car

Due to heavy construction in and around Harvard Square please allow an extra 15-20 minutes of travel time.

From the West (I90 - Massachusetts Turnpike): Take Exit 18 (Cambridge/Allston). Bear right after the toll booth at the end of the exit ramp. At the third set of lights (over the bridge), turn left onto Memorial Drive. After the second set of lights, turn right onto JFK Street. Go through two sets of lights. At the third set of lights, turn left onto Brattle Street (Cardullo's is straight ahead), then bear right at the crosswalk (Eastern Mountain Sports is straight ahead), which is a continuation of Brattle Street. Radcliffe Yard will be on your right after you pass the Graduate School of Education on your right and the American Repertory Theatre on your left. The Admissions Office is located within Radcliffe Yard.

Parking: On-street parking is scarce in Cambridge, but there are several public parking lots and garages. There is also parking available at the Harvard garages on Oxford Street and Broadway on weekdays. You may purchase a pass online and it costs $10.00 per day. You will need a printer to complete this transaction and when prompted, select: Department: Admin. & Financial Aid/Byerly Department Code: 3003. You can also buy parking passes at 46 Blackstone Street, Cambridge, MA.

Public Parking Around Harvard Square: As a convenience for our visitors we list below several commercial garages which may offer spaces. None is endorsed by Harvard or by the Admissions Office.
