 Hi Mid-Atlantic UpSTANDers! For those of you who we haven’t talked to over the past few months, our names are Adriane, your College Mid-Atlantic Regional Outreach Coordinator, and Meaghan, your high school Mid-Atlantic Regional Outreach Coordinator. This spring semester we will be having an awesome opportunity to come together and empower ourselves through creating a network of student activists and educating ourselves on emerging conflicts.

This year, at the Mid-Atlantic Chapter Retreat at Swarthmore College, we will have the opportunity to come together to discuss our movement, what we’ve done and what we still have left to do. Through group discussions, presentations and even some interactive activities, we will be able to reflect, learn and engage ourselves with other chapters! This year the chapter retreat will be held at Swarthmore College, just outside of Philadelphia, it is a short ride away from many of your home states. Come out for a day of finding innovative ways to help stop genocide and mass atrocities while learning from our colleagues in the Mid-Atlantic region.
