Alta Loma High STAND
Founded last year in 2007, ALHS's STAND chapter has aided in raising funds for GI-NET to help out the victims in Darfur, Congo and Burma, and in spreading the word about the tragic conflicts that have affected over millions of lives. Some of last year's events included: DarfurFast, restaurant fundraiser at Rancho Los Magueyes, etc. This year, STAND hopes on sponsering more events, advocating for an end to the crisis, and on educating the students and community on what is going on.

Next meeting will be on NOV 18 in Rm 57. Be sure to go because we will be making posters for our STANDFAST in Dec and also we will be taking our club photo for the yearbook. In addition, going along with the holiday spirit, since some of our members are planning to bring food for the meeting, if anybody else wants to bring food that would be greatly appreciated.
