Hicksville High School STAND

STAND is a student-based organization dedicated to raise awareness and funds for violent conflicts, primarily genocide. At Hicksville, STAND will be committed to raise community awareness for these conflicts, particularly the Darfur situation. The group will meet periodically, plan fundraising events, and build a sustainable student involvement. The group’s primary focus is the Darfur, Sudan conflict.
