Indiana University STAND

Originally a collaborative effort with the community chapter of Save Darfur Bloomington, Indiana University STAND now exists as a part of the permanent anti-genocide constituency. We work closely with other student and community groups, as well as the Indiana Coalition to Save Darfur, to advocate for effective US policy on Sudan, provide opportunities for education about this issue on our campus, and fundraise on behalf of the victims. Our primary goal is to advocate for peace in Sudan and justice for its people, but we also hope to expand our efforts and direct them in the future towards other instances of genocide and mass atrocities.
