STAND WashU

STAND WashU is a chapter of a national student anti-genocide coalition currently working to raise awareness to end the genocide in the Darfur region of the Sudan. The group meets once a week to plan several events taking place throughout the course of the academic year. It has been 5 years since the genocide in Darfur begin in 2003, and yet little has been done through policy to change this. We want to raise awareness in order to garner more strength for advocating and pressuring politicians to effectively change foreign policy and stop the atrocities in Sudan.
