Burma: A country in need

STAND is hosting Patrick Cook-Deegan, who currently works for the US Campaign for Burma, to give a presentation about the political crisis in Burma now. This event is a great way for our chapter to broaden our focus from only Darfur to other conflict areas in the world. Patrick recently graduated from Brown University and rode his bike across Southeast Asia raising money for civilian protection. Patrick will also talk about the power of student activism.
