Conflict Panel
SmithSTAND will be presenting a Conflict Panel with survivors of and/or experts on Burma, Cambodia, and Armenia. This event will aim to show how conflict and genocide can affect individual lives and how past conflicts have continued to affects the lives of affected people today. This event is part of our Conflict Awareness Month that SmithSTAND is holding in April. The event will be moderated by Nikki Tishler, STAND's MA State Outreach Coordinator. The Conflict Panel is also co-sponsored by the Southeast Asian Alliance.

-Ronnie Booxbaum on the history of the Cambodian genocide (professor from Greenfield Community College)
-Sokhen Mao speaker (refugee from Cambodia)
-Susan Darlington on the nature of the conflict in Burma (professor from Hampshire College)
