Darfur Now Screening with Adam Sterling!

Darfur Now

Join ADAM STERLING for a screening of the DARFUR NOW documentary and a short Q&A session afterward for the BIGGEST event of the GENOCIDE INTERVENTION WEEK!

Adam Sterling, 25, is one of the focuses of this amazing documentary that examines the lives of six people around the world who have had a positive effect on the genocide in Darfur or have been affected by it. Adam is a finalist for the Do Something Award in the Teen Choice Awards for his outstanding work in the divestment movement. Now, Adam serves as the Director of Economic Advocacy at the Genocide Intervention Network in Washington DC. To date, 27 states, 19 major cities, and 59 universities have adopted policies restricting their investments in Sudan. In addition, 18 countries have begun campaigns to pass Adam's legislation and all of the major presidential candidates have divested their own personal funds. He even involved President Bush when he signed the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act in 2007!

Although there is no entrance fee, we would greatly appreciate any donation (small or large!) that you might feel inclined to give. We will also raffle off a few items with tickets costing only $1 per entry!
