STANDFast

We're doing a STANDFast event late due to semester whackiness and finals, but we're finally on it.

STANDFast is here! Join the Juneau chapter of STAND, a student anti-genocide constituency, in helping the survivors of genocide in Africa and Burma. As people are senselessly murdered in Sudan, the Congo and Burma, we are STANDing fast and raising awareness in our community about the conflicts. STANDFast participants are asked to 'fast' from ONE LUXURY ITEM for ONE DAY and instead donate whatever money the item would have cost to our funds. All money raised this way will go to the Genocide Intervention Network's Civilian Protection Network that helps the survivors of the attacks.
