Apply for the Carl Wilkens Fellowship!

I wanted to let you know about an exciting announcement: Genocide Intervention Network is now accepting applications for the 2009 Carl Wilkens Fellowship, the first and only anti-genocide leadership development program designed for busy adults.

The Carl Wilkens Fellowship provides adults with leadership training, conflict and legislative education, organizing tools, and the resources to build sustained political will to end genocide . Named in honor of Carl Wilkens, the only American to remain in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide, the Carl Wilkens Fellowship gives ordinary citizens the skills and resources they need to become movement leaders in their own communities.

If you, or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Wilkens Fellowship, attached is a brochure with more information. Or, you can click here: http://www.genocideintervention.net/advocate/wilke...

Applications are due no later than November 30th, 2008. Please let me know if you have any questions. Take care, and thanks!
