Introduction

Our goal is to create a student-led group that will raise awareness amongst other students and the community at large. We will meet to discuss the current genocide in areas such as; Sudan, Somalia, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. We will write our local congressman pressuring them to take a larger stand in the prevention of genocide. In our letters we will pressure them to co-sponsor Amendments and Bills being presented to congress. We will also hold fund-raising events to raise money to help aid the many victims of genocide abroad.

Through this advocacy we will no longer be standing around doing nothing while such atrocities are being committed against fellow human beings.
