Starting STAND at CCS
Okay, so LD & I was going to talk to Kuke this week just to tell her that this will be happening in her happy little high school, tell her what it's about, and ask if we can meet and hold our events and things in the school and as a part of the school. After that's said and done, I'll put up a ton of posters around school alerting students of our presence in their midst. Then either late next week or mid-the-week-after-that (probably the latter), let's have our first organizational meeting. Sound like a plan?
Also while I'm organizing this on the internet right now, I'm not the only one doing everything. I know Amy's been researching extensively, Robert's started the Facebook group and ordered tons of books, and most of you are doing things in English related to genocide. Basically there is no dictator or designated leader. So feel free to do your own thing and share with everyone else!
LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN, I'm so excited that we're doing something!

Talked to Kuke today...
... she has to run everything by the administration and the Board of Directors and this could take a long time, maybe the whole month, but that doesn't mean we can't do things. I still think we should go ahead with a big organizational meeting at somebody's house. We still exist, but we're just not a club in the school yet.
She's talking to me again tomorrow with an update.
