Each Managing Committee Coordinator oversees a taskforce of relevant support roles. Task Forces are the backbone of STAND, and regularly carry out tasks that are vital to STAND's day to day operations. The STAND Leadership Team (SLT) is headed by the Managing Committee (MC), made up of 13 dedicated college and high school students.  The Managing Committee is charged with resourcing, uniting and empowering over 100 Core Chapters, whose leaders make up the rest of the STAND Leadership Team, and thousands more STAND members across the country.

The 2010-2011 Student Leadership Team includes Outreach Coordinators sitting on the Managing Committee.

Since the creation of S.T.A.N.D. at Georgetown University in 2004, the organization has been led entirely by students from across the country who communicate through daily emails, weekly conference calls, and semesterly strategy retreats.  Over the past five years, STAND has had five different leadership teams that have shaped the organization to what it is today.

STAND's Outreach Coordinators are the link between STAND's Managing Committee and chapters on the ground.

The STAND Leadership Team is headed by a Managing Committee (MC) of dedicated students from schools across the country. Each member of the Managing Committee is supported by a National Task Force of 3-5 students who assist with research, material development, and communicating with chapters. Excepted from this are the National Outreach Coordinators, who each oversee 15-30 student Outreach Coordinators in their respective divisions.

National Team members work with members of the Managing Committee, assisting with research, material development, and communicating with chapters.

STAND's State Outreach Coordinators work in conjuction with the Regional Outreach Coordinators to strengthen and connect chapters in every state. If you live in one of the states listed below, click to find out more.

STAND's Outreach Coordinators are the link between STAND's Managing Committee and chapters on the ground. Outreach Coordinators disseminate information about STAND's campaigns, link chapters to one another, organize regional or state events, advise chapter leaders on event planning and available resources, and relay input and feedback from chapters in their region or state back to STAND's Managing Committte, ensuring a truly grassroots movement.
